I can specifically relate to that. In my last apartment, I used to live near not 1 but 2 mosques, both around 300 m in each direction. And every morning at 5 - and I mean every-fucking-goddamn-morning - both of them would start blaring "Allah-hu-Akbar" on their speakers at top volume, as if competing to see who was the loudest in their devotion.
I'd much rather live downwind the pig-sty. Atleast in that case I can spray air-freshner and close my windows.
