Why does God use an army to fight, when He Could Do it alone?

I am pretty sure some lightning and forest fires taught them about fire itself, and no it wasn't zeus doing it. But it is pretty amazing how they managed to do it.

Once you observe that fire requires heat, and friction creates heat, it comes down to experimenting with methods of creating friction. Prehistoric man wasn't stupid.

It seems likely to me that man obtained fire by natural means and first learned to preserve and transport fire before learning to make it himself.
