Theism is in precisely the same position (atheism isn't unique in -that- regard) , if were using theism to mean "belief in a god" rather than as a descriptor between different types of god beliefs. A person may conclude it, and nothing has to follow from it (and what does, as stated?).
Personally I don't use the term that way myself, but it's -been- used that way throughout the thread...so I figured I'd run with it.
