Question about priests and offensive jokes

Hi everyone, I'm a bit ignorant as to the exact workings of the church system so I thought some people could help me out please. I'm in the UK, but I'd also be interested in how things work in other places.

How do the priests/bishops/pastors/whatever get their wages? Is it from taxpayers' money, or church collections, or both?

And now some offensive jokes I came up with last night (christians better not read.)

I ran into the church and starting screaming at the priest.

"You dirty old child-molesting, parasitic, delusion-spreading, grief-harvesting, ignorance-causing, pedophile-shuffling, hatred-causing, hypocritical piece of shit!"

He turned to me, and said, "That's outrageous, how dare you! I'm only 37, I wouldn't call that old."



If a christian follows the word of the bible exactly, do they have any morals?

Probably they do have some. And they are able to turn them all off so that they can follow the bible.
