I think 4-dimensional is an example of endless, rather than infinite. You could keep travelling through it forever, but that universe could still sit in the middle of something else. The universe either has boundaries or it is infinite. It also always existed or it came into existence at some finite point.

I'm not going "god of the gaps, but rather "God of everything" Why couldn't the universe have been created by supernatural forces? I've got plenty of personal testimonies given over thousands of years and I have God himself living within me. You're being awfully closed-minded aren't you? Especially so when you don't have the answers.
