Jesus' death is not a sacrifice because he knew ahead of time that he would be resurrected.
Did you not read what I stated above, yes He knew He would be resurrected and that is an incredibly important part of the sacrifice. For a former Christian you seem to have missed out on the reality of God and his plan for mankind.
Quote:Bible god supposedly created a world where humans are flawed and can never be good enough for heaven so he punishes them forever unless they accept his son( who is also actually him) who he sent to be tortured and to commit suicide by cop.
God created a perfect world, again you as a former Christian seem to have forgotten what you read in the scriptures, if you actually did read and actually tried to understand what they say.
Sin is responsible for corrupting the creation, it is why we've never been able to be perfect in our obedience to God.
Quote: Oh, but his son(really him) knew that he wouldn't really permanently die. Can't you see that makes no sense, at all.
No, it makes perfect sense, if Christ is not resurrected then neither would we be resurrected. This is what our faith is about, trusting that God will do for us as He did for His Son.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
