Replace it with some actual health care. Like build hospitals and clinics. Build schools of medicine and pay people to attend them. I propose we replace Obama's big gift to health insurance fat cats with some actual fucking health care.

My simple proposal would be to have Medicare for everyone and just jettison the whole Byzantine and unnecessary health insurance scheme completely.

Sounds nice, but Haywood's stupid fear is that we will have to become Cuba or China to get that.

Um actually though in the more sane secular west open market societies it isn't all publicly funded either. What those states do which we do not, which is just as important, is that they have a lower pay gap between the top and bottom, and livable wages so that while they can depend on the state they also have better means even with the lowest paid. And that makes all the difference.
