So can a lot of people who don't interpret things like you do, and when you suggest you have 'biblical answers', you are implying that you have access to evidence that proves your version of things more accurate than others.

All biblical Answers provide are direction for those who are looking to worship the God of the bible. This does not change anything with anyone else who is looking to worship their own version of God.

I don't doubt that you have a back and forth knowledge of what's in the book, and that's not my point of contention. That point of contention is that you have no basis to say that you understand what it means any better than I do. In fact, you have less basis than I do, because:

Well, again going to the greek and hebrew does give me a better understanding of the text. The bible was not orginally written in english. As such there are aspects lost in a literal translation, which is what most of you will read.

Not to sound too pompous, but your interpretation cannot be trusted because you accept everything within it as factual, without reservation.

I look to scripture as the bible/Paul says to look to scripture. That it is God breathed and is good for establishing and maintain a working relationship with God.

You accept, as reality, the events depicted within.

Again I accept the bible as everything I need to know about God in order to have a relationship with Him.

You can't offer a useful interpretation because you interpret it without allowing for any possibility that it is wrong or fabricated, nor do you account for any other religion's claims or holy texts. I believe that the Bible should be interpreted in all of these contexts.

There is only one context in which the bible need be intrpreted. Is the bible accurate in what it says about establishing and maintaining a relationship with God? Can i confirm/witness such a relationship outside of the bible if I follow it's perscribed path? If yes then it is as Paul said. The bible is complete. At which point one does not have to know whether or not there was an actual garden, an ark or understand the events plotted out in Revelation. We are only tasked to deal with what we have been given over to understand.

The last source anyone should seek for a proper Bible interpretation is a believer. You're salespeople selling a product and every one of you has enormous and intentional blind spots.

Perhaps, what has been deemed an 'intelectual blind spot' was so deemed because it is a requirement of God.

Yes, yes, you've made it quite clear that God gave you an asshole so you'd have something to talk out of.

If you really cared, you'd go someplace where people really need to hear about Jesus, like Saudi Arabia or North Korea. You only care to the point where you'll harass people who won't kill you for it.

'To care for people' in this case Means to care for those who care enough to have a dialog. Most people don't. Especially in those regions.

I know I am asking for it when I do one of these threads, but believe it or not deep down somewhere I am here for those who want clarity and biblically based answers. It would be foolish for me to assume that the way I do things fits all people, so I am asking for Constructive criticism so that I may better relay what it is I have to say..

An example is a year or so ago it was brought to my attention that some of my nick names for some of you are off putting.. So I have made an effort to stop using them.

Stop the Ask Seek Knock stuff. All you're doing is asking people to keep talking to themselves until they go so mad that they begin to think that someone is talking back to them.

Evidence is what we're after, not self delusion.

A/S/K is about research. If you would simply approach God, as you would for food if you were starving then you would find Him. Christ Himself promised that.

Don't start from a position where you assume the bible and god have already been demonstrated to be true.
