The real you lives in your body, like you live at times in your car or house.
The essence of you is not your body.

"For out of the heart comes the issues of life"- this is speaking of the inner person, just like the song:
"I left my heart in San Francisco".
Surely the standard line of the Naturalists (that the bible is stupid when it talks of the heart- being that it is an organ in our body)
doesn't come out when they hear this song.
Or any other love song for that matter.
It only comes out when dealing with spiritual issues.
The heart would be the "Inner Man"- the emotions, love, hope, fear, admiration, loyalty- all non physical facts.
THIS is the real YOU which lives in a body. So, you are at least 2 in one. If your god existed in the physical realm, we would have found him by now.
God says you are 3 in one- like Him, who lives in both physical and spiritual realms.

The essence of me is my brain. This can be proven by the fact that if you mess with someone's brain, they can become a totally different person. You could get that man to completely forget about San Francisco, and everything about it that he enjoyed, without effecting his ability to function as a person.
