Bible is the infallible word of God! Proof!

The Bible is the Grand Charter of God. To undermine, discredit and reject the Bible is to undermine, discredit and reject God.

If that's the case, things don't look good for God.

The popular assertion of present-day shallow thinkers that their Christianity rejects the Old Testament but accepts the New is, to say the least, unrealistic, for the New Testament is based on the Old. Both are inseparably united and of necessity when one is rejected the other also must be refused. What the seed is to the plant so is the Old to the New. How can the plant be received and the seed which produced it rejected?

That seems a pretty mainstream view. Christians who advocate ditching the OT are a small minority. Which is a shame, IMHO.

The Bible claims to be the Word of God and by staking this claim the Bible simply but plainly declares its divine authority, complete infallibility and absolute sufficiency.

At least you know it's a claim and not evidence.

The Bible does not appeal to reason and demand obedience because our reason sanctions its teachings. Its authority is not rational in that sense, although we believe the Bible to be reasonable ultimately, because it is the Word of Him Who is the source of all reason. Our reason needs to be approved by the Bible and not the Bible by our reason.

So the first thing the Bible requires is a suppression of critical thinking. I noticed that when I read it.

The Bible's authority is not derived from the emotions. The Bible does not appeal to our feelings and demand obedience because our feelings acquiesce in its teachings. Its authority is not emotional, and our feelings need to be approved by the Bible, and not the Bible by our feelings.

That is also true. The Bible is appalling to modern moral sensibilities, and could reasonably be rejected as a sound and infallible guide on that ground alone, if concepts like 'reasonably' weren't already out the window.

The greatest fact of all time is the Bible.

It's a claim, not a fact.

How a book which has been so universally attacked could survive and attain to such a place of eminence is a miracle eloquently testifying to its supernatural origin.

The Qu'ran is giving it a run for its money, then.

The unity of the Bible is one of the greatest evidences of its supernatural origin.

It's the greatest evidence of its editing, and since it's been edited so badly, it's still pretty weak evidence.

The Bible is unique.

Every book is unique.

Hundreds of years and in some cases over a thousand years before certain events took place, the Bible made precise predictions concerning those events.

Except there is no way to confirm that the predictions preceded the events where they're accurate, or that they were fulfilled where they're vague.

No other sacred book ventured to make such predictions. The Bible is the only book which dared to stake its claim to divinity on the accuracy of its prophecies!

If another sacred book did the same, would you consider that evidence against the validity of the Bible?

Our generation is living in a time when the Bible says the facts of its truth is shouting at us & very few are paying attention. The mega horn that is shouting at the human race is Israel. God Himself told exactly what was going to happen to Israel – also stating He would prove to all the unbelievers, called heathen, that He was God by what He was going to do with Israel over a 2500 year period.

Well, since America is such an atheistic country, and the few believers we do have are so close-mouthed, none of us have ever heard that before. Thanks for the new information.
