Hey, so right after Red Dwarf there was another BBC show that aired. I never watched it except for the intro song. I'm gonna try to describe it and see if you can tell me what the hell it was. The song was kind of memorable because it utilized the sound of the cashier machine- "Craaaank Ching". And I seem to remember the opening sequence being in a compartment store or maybe a hotel or something. Any ideas?
I ask because my sister and I never knew what the lady was singing, but she sang in a kind of soothing, bouncy, almost spoken melody, and I would imitate her to make my sister laugh. I get it stuck in my head from time to time and want to hear it again.
