Sigh, we have lots of other places to go. But just as you won't convince us of taking any book literally, we won't convince you of the wide spectrum you're missing.

And I remember the concept you're quoting from my earliest childhood, when I prepared for first communion. I remember it because even then it didn't convince me, which only proves what I said in the above line.
