The second law of thermodynamics and evolution

What they did not tell you is without a CODE of DIRECTION within all living things, the energy from the sun does what it does to your plastic dashboard and other things.

This is breathtakingly stupid; heat energy is still energy, regardless of the effects of its initial effect upon impacting the planet. Therefore, regardless of your ignorant little opinions, the Earth is not a closed system as understood by thermodynamics, and therefore the second law is not applicable to it:

As to your alleged "CODE of DIRECTION," can you provide a single iota of evidence for this and its necessity, or just more flawed comparisons to cars and other things that aren't in any way biological?

Quote:Cars are a good example. Have you got one?
Things tend to disintegrate over time.
Left to themselves, they do that, you fight the results of entropy all your life.
But no, everything you see is wrong.Thy eyes deceiveth thyself, sayeth the experts.

Of course entropy is happening, but that fact alone doesn't preclude the development of life any more than temperatures being cold precludes the possibility of a slight increase in heat. Entropy is a thing, but there's still energy circulating now; aside from your fiat assertion that entropy necessarily makes natural life impossible, do you have any evidence to back it up?
