Yup, some of us speak from a position of experience and credibility, others talk out of their ass....is there a problem with that?

When the experience regards whether to give money or coke to strippers, yes, a lot of wives would have a problem with that.

It aint the smocks, brosef - it's the smiles and mystery. This is progress though. So, given that what may tempt one may not tempt another. Allow a little leeway for the fact that we probably aren't aware of -all- the things we might find "tempting" (if for no other reason than lack of experience) then the list of temptations balloons out to - essentially- anything. Forgive me if I don't find such a strategy to be useful in managing my marriage. I don't even think that you're actually using avoidance to begin with - but again, who am I to tell you that you're wrong about yourself?

You can enjoy yourself with friends at home, a bar, a sporting event, etc. You go to the strip club to see women. Your friends do, anyway, although I'm sure you're fantasizing about checkout girls the whole time.

There seems to be an undercurrent here, some unsaid reason that -you- imagine people would go to strip clubs. That's probably your own tick.

I think men tend to go to strip clubs to see naked women, get lap dances, etc. It's not imagination, again it's talking to people and reading about it.

I don't go to get laid, I don't go because I'm interested in soliciting the feigned affection of a stripper, and I don't go because I'm frustrated at home. Strippers don't tempt me to cheat on my wife anymore than the checkout girl does (or any less). Tempt isn't even a useful word in this context, in my life. I mention all of this so you don't have to spend anymore time imagining what I do around naked women.

You go for some reason, and as noted, you can have fun with friends in lots of other ways, so don't use that as an excuse.
