Nothing says "powerful ideas found here" like having to ban people who disagree politely. Apparently them were some hard questions, eh?
When you read this post, buddy, just understand -- you have to protect your faith from questions. That's some weak shit.
It's a shame you don't have the guts to sign up and post here. You wouldn't be banned unless you actually broke a rule. Theists are welcomed here when they engage in discussion.
Also, touting the "law of the excluded middle" as if it isn't a fallacy. Tsk, tsk, someone flunked Phi104.
Just went there to see what the fuss was about. I copied this:
Quote:Atheist friend of the page says: "You're not for healthy discussion. You prefer control of the conversation as a way to prove you are correct. If you delete the comments that make you look like you don't know what you're talking about you can then make it seem as if you have bested the opponent. Kind of a sad way to keep a myth alive."
Response: We don't ban people to control a conversation. We welcome healthy discussion. Unfortunately when it is determined that one needs to be banned, their comments made on the page up to that point are automatically deleted, which is totally out of the control of the administrators of this page. We'd prefer that the comments remain so the previous conversations with the now banned person can remain coherent, as well as, we think leaving the conversations intact would show onlookers that we actually do know what we are talking about.
I guess it never occurred to them that they could just not ban people but then it really is up to them. I would have thought they could keep existing comments without allowing more posts from someone but then I don't know what the hell I'm talking about really.
