Welcome. In regards to the diversity of the forums, I feel comfortable saying that we are a fairly diverse group. I'm a 13-year-old girl, but I've still been treated as mostly equal to others here, even those who are older or have a Y-chromosome.
I think, that overall, we are fairly respectful of others' opinions.
And, yes, I sympathize with being anti-social. I have about one real friend in my school; and pretending that I care about certain crap is sometimes rather annoying. "Praying" to a God that I don't believe in is a waste of time. But... parents overrule almost everything when you are my age, so...
Anyway, welcome, greetings, fellow human (or alien... Who knows? You could be an alien...)
