If you're referring to me I did not mean it as a joke, and I am sure that he wasn't joking in many of the threads he has posted in, not to count the ones he's started. I never joke about something that serious.

being serious or otherwise doesn't make a difference. Hell is something people choose; no one alive has totally missed “hearing God’s call” and would prefer the unrighteous state it offers. God gives free will and people choose. The ‘torment’ is better translated to the word ‘restraint’. The more evil a person has demonstrated on earth, the more ‘restraint’ they have there. The restraint to inflict evil is the torment. God doesn’t withdraw His protection to his bodied spiritual creation in Hell, and God nature doesn’t allow for torment.
