RE: Whats your experience with Muslim neighborhoods and Muslims in your country ?

Living in Jerusalem, I found Muslims to be far more courteous, friendly, and generous than the average Israeli or American. I had lengthy conversations with a handful of Muslim friends, and what they told me was that they were both annoyed at and afraid of a small handful of potentially very violent "troublemakers." An unfortunately large part of their lives seemed to be influenced by trying to stay out of the way of these troublemakers.
Muslims in a mosque I visited were friendly and welcoming as well, even though I was obviously and openly Christian. They went out of their way to make sure I felt welcomed and comfortable during my visit, and made no attempt to convert me.
