I'm tired of Bratton. Using his reasoning, locking up cops who assault and murder people would also deter that behavior. Sadly, his cops don't have to play by the same rules demonstrated by his lack of support for Cuomo's idea to assign an indepentden monitor when a grand jury fails to indict a cop.

I'm not sure if Bratton was consulted, but I heard a thin blue line charity advertising on the radio yesterday morning. I thought the timing to be extremely odd given that the situation with the cops here is still tense.
