I've heard of that theory before (that the Quran was not exclusively Arabic). It's not something I've given much thought to though. Perhaps I ought to pick up a copy of Christoph Luxenberg's book. One book I've been meaning to read is In The Shadow Of The Sword by Tom Holland. It's supposed to be really informative and well researched. Certain sections of society will deny that of course - but that's because they want to impose their rendering of history upon everyone else, even if they know it to be false.
