Obvious? Hardly. In my mid-twenties, I learned that there was one, and possibly two, dead ringers for me wandering this planet. The resemblance, apparently, was uncannily close -- close enough that in one case some guy's mother and sister were astonished and couldn't quite believe at first that I wasn't their son/brother even as they looked directly at me no farther than a few feet away. Was I obviously directly related to this complete stranger, or do strange results sometimes shake out via genes?
