Then again, you might not. Such people tend to have very emotional reactions to the question and seldom have the qualifications one would look for in appointing one to opine on such ethical and legal questions. No, I rather think it's a bad idea. And I rather suspect you only suggested it to make an appeal to emotion in lieu of a rational argument for said capital punishment. (Not to mention that asking the violently murdered is rather unproductive as they are dead.)
