Welcome!!
Most of the time, I think it's fun to have those kinds of conversations, but sometimes, I'm just not in the mood. A couple days ago I was on my way into work and as I was coming out of the gas station some dude came running at me with a bible and a pamphlet and asked me if I was interested in hearing a message from God. I wasn't in the mood, it I were, I'd open it up with a statement like "Sure, which one talks to you?" But Instead, I used my closed-off response, and left it to percolate "No thanks, I'm not superstitious."
I think it that religious people don't think of themselves as "superstitious" and I like to let them know that's exactly how they appear. I've got a 5 year old, and I feel the same way. I teach him about all myths, not just Christianity. By the time someone like Godschild attempts to molest his mind, he'll be prepared...
