Fucking Cops

I don't want my last reply to make it sound as if I blame all of the racial problems in Ferguson on black racism. Racism is both an action and a reaction. Both races should be shamed and pushed into better behavior by fair rational people.

There is an old saying that "to a man with a hammer, the world is a nail." Cops have that hammer and have to use it daily on a large segment of our population. The cops who cover a poor white neighborhood might occasionally beat white innocent people that look like his normal arrest-able segment, and the same could be true for a cop trawling black neighborhoods.
Pretty soon any common denominator begins to look like nails.

I've proposed that beat policemen be forced to work with the public in a non-enforcment manner at least a few days a month in the vain hopes of breaking the psychological tide that every non-cop is simple a future perp.
Of course, budgets would never allow for that, so cops become weirder and weirder people who are so used to bullying people they can't help themselves. This is why they are so well represented in divorce and domestic abuse cases.
