Had blacks been given all the freedoms due to them as human beings, we wouldn't have needed the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  Discrimination would have been punished economically.  Blacks would have integrated into society and old stereo types would have faded away.

It wasn't slavery that destroyed black society and kept in the ghetto.  It was the force of government.

Are you serious?  Those laws were passed by the whites in power.  Those laws are exactly what you are promoting: institutionalized discrimination.

You want the Christians in power to pass laws allowing for institutionalized discrimination.

It was passing of laws that stripped blacks from having any political power and made discrimination free from economic consequences that institutionalized it.    Take away the Jim Crow laws and take away the minimum wage laws designed to price cheap black labor out the market and the world would have been a much better place. Blacks would be on par or surpassing whites today.  They wouldn't be relegated to the ghetto.   It was stripping people of there rights and ability to be self determinant that created the mess....and somehow you think stripping people of their rights and ability to be self determinant is going to make it better?
