Thats right, equal protection under the law is a farce. Homophobes get no protection.

The only way you can have equal protection is if you let everyone discriminate when they want. Otherwise some people get to discriminate and some don't.....which is the unequal situation we have now.
I didn't realize homophobes were so persecuted that they needed protection. I didn't realize they had been assaulted and even murdered for their bigotry. I hadn't realized that their chosen views put them on an equal footing with what is clearly not a chosen state. When did this unjust persecution of bigots began that entitles them to legal protections?
That's right, it isn't persecution. It's keeping bigotry out of public discourse for the public weal.
