I get the desire for people to want there to be a god and a creator and all that.
What I don't get is anyone actually believing this ridiculous "story" is actually something that happened. It boggles my mind. I suppose if you're willing to ignore all of science and believe a crusty old book to get your facts about the age of the earth, this story isn't pushing the boat out much further.
