I am glad that you said.......there appear to be no connection between the two........ and not there is no connection between the two.
You just did a step forward Ton by not claiming things without having solid evidence.
As far as the fact that we don't recall previous lives my believe is that there is a very good reason for.
To remember the past prevent us from going forward.
Suppose that in a previous life you did something very bad.
In this life you would think about that bad thing time and time again and this would fill your mind with a sense of guilt which again would be
a big problem for you.
By not remember previous things we are free to build something positive in this life.
Quote:Second, I don't presume that god does or doesn't want to do anything. I presume that god doesn't exist. You keep explaining why it only seems as if he doesn't exist, while admitting that you can't prove he does. Your explanations, as I have shown, make a very poor case for the idea that god exists, by making him appear to be a complete spaz. I'm wondering which is worse: not believing that god is real, or believing that he is and he happens to be a cosmic dork.
The reason why i say that can not be proven is because i am dealing with people that only believe in a physical-mental way.
God is not something physical-mental but something much more subtle and great that goes well behind the world of physicality
therefore it would be a waste of time to push my belief considering that you wouldn't understand.
