A little bit about me

Greetings and salutations
I am a former member of friendly atheist forums, which closed a while back so if you were on that forum you may remember me, if so hello again. I know that I recognise xpastor from there. I went to a Christian school in the UK, stopped believing in God when I was around 11 or 12 (I don't remember exactly when), got massively into anti-theism when I was a teenager which got me into Philosophy. I'm now about to finish my BA in Philosophy and am no longer an atheist, but accept instead the Aristotelian Prime mover argument for... well an Aristotelian prime mover. Not theistic at all, don't believe in a personal God at all, just believe that the first cause argument makes sense as well as making the rest of philosophy a whole lot easier. Politically I'm a libertarian conservative, very broadly in line with the Republican party (if they actually believed what they claimed to and weren't corrupt) except for their views on religion and Christianity, although some of their points of view that stem from Christian dogma, I accept for separate reasons (such as opposition to abortion). Also I'm no longer an anti-theist, although I do have sympathy for some anti-theist arguments and viewpoints (usually the ones that coincide with libertarianism).
Look forward to seeing you on the boards, if you have any questions about me, feel free to ask away either here or as a PM. I will do my utmost to be respectful if/when/where we disagree if you try to do the same.
