What do you think about gay marriage and LGBT rights in general?
If you're from the UK, what do you think of Ukip?
I hope I am not scaring you I'm just curious (:
Yes, abortion is always immoral, however there are occasions when it is less immoral than the alternative (for example if the woman's life is endangered) so I recognise that the law needs to make allowances for this.
I believe that civil partnerships are fine for anyone who wants them and they should be legally equal to marriage. I believe that nobody should get 'married' unless they are religious and who can get 'married' should be up to religions. If a church wishes to recognise gay marriage that is their business, although I would argue that it's theologically unsound from a Christian perspective. LGBT persons should have as many rights as can be reasonably afforded in a free society, same as anybody else. So gay adoption is fine, wishing to identify as another gender is fine, dressing non-traditionally is fine etc. I'm a libertarian.
I think that UKIP have a lot of policies that I find very agreeable and that they are often mis-represented by the main stream media as being racist (which the party is not, even if some members and former members arguably are). They are a step in the right direction, and a necessary step towards the collapse of Labour and the Conservatives but they are ultimately too populist and not libertarian enough for my taste.

The introduction subforum isn't the place to get into it, but feel free to start a thread on the prime mover argument so we can show you how it is incompatible with modern cosmology and quantum physics.
Thanks for the welcome. I'll be sure to do that as I'll be interested to read your critique. Should that go in Religion, Philosophy or Science?
