lets say I am bidding on a gin-u-wine certified Joseph Smith brand Seer Stone, and I see the Buy it Now price is $100. The auction ends in a few minutes, and the price is currently $25.00
I bid $30.00, I'm the high bidder and I then enter a maximum bid of $60.00.
I refresh the screen and see :
current bid 30.00 bid more than $60.50.
2 seconds before the auction closes, a bid is made and accepted for 58.00. My max bid is more than that, so I get hit for $58.50.
How does somebody enter a bid LESS than $60.50 on me ??
I am blaming Jesus right now, but would like the name of some pissant at Ebay instead.
