Yeah, I take that to mean one of two things: either she didn't ask that at all and her parents took the liberty of demanding for her and using her name to get it done, or she was pressured into doing so by her parents. Those two have already shown that, on this issue, their first priority is to defend their molester son and attempt to cover it all up, and their particular sect of christian cult demands total obedience from children, and women especially, to their fathers no matter their age; it would have been the work of but a moment for them to further the agenda of silence they'd been perpetrating for years before getting caught, and pressured that little girl into doing what they wanted and make that report go away.
