Methodists typically (AFAIK) don't have in house detention. Britain does, and I'd like to see them use it more.
Some denominations think disfellowshipment is a pretty severe penalty, don't know if it lowers the incidence, but it helps the optics.
As I recall, denoms that show fuck ups the door include LDS, JWs, Lutherans and several branches of Amish. Curiously, I would view a personal banishment from LDS a badge of honor, but I'm funny that way, (there being a difference between asking too many questions with inconvenient answers and kiddy diddling).
