No discoveries from the new run, because it was all test collisions, real physics measurements are only commencing now, in the coming weeks. There are some interesting effects in old data from the first run which could potentially be something - namely the decays of B mesons to D mesons are a bit off. But it's only two point something standard deviations.

I don't know which doubling of power the docu refers to, can you give specifics. It is now running with 13 TeV after the 2 year upgrade as opposed to 8 TeV previously. Any further upgrades in energy are far away.
