I didn't know it either, and it's not like I live on a old back road. It's a 50mph road, but it's nice and flat, and people are pretty respectful of the speed limit. I lived in the sticks at my last house, but the biggest difference was that the road was a 55mph State route, and it was hilly as fuck. Nobody in their right mind would try to walk across it, let alone drive a mower on it.
The other day, I went to the gas station around the corner, and a dude was there getting gas for his mower. I knew it was for his mower, because he drove his mower to the pump! Haha
