I don't think it gets much worse than Destiny. They hyped that game making it sound massive and then delivered roughly $30 worth of content for $60. Then they put out two DLC's for $20 a piece(which I only bought the first one), each one delivering roughly $10 worth of content. Now they've announced that they've got a new DLC coming out in September, and they have the balls to ask $40 for it! Even after the new DLC is out, they won't have anywhere near the content as something like GTA V, but they will have milked $140 total out of gullible gamers.
I've lost all respect for Bungie after this blatant disregard for their consumers, but the real problem is that if they can blatantly get people to overpay for their game, other companies are going to take the same route. A big part of the problem with the state of gaming is that we gamers can't seem to keep our wallets shut, even when it goes against our best interests.
