One of the reasons I opposed ACA initially is because it represented a massive transfer of wealth from public coffers to private corporations; it was insurance companies raiding the Treasury. My son's mom fought a ten-year running battle with cancer. After seeing her denied the best care, and subsequently dropped, I don't trust the insurance industry one goddamned bit. Point of fact, they already are the "death panels" that the far-right fuckheads tried to trump up. Medicare saved her life.
