1. "I would, there are multiple stories in the bible where god commands people to kill, and I'd happily do so if god asked me."
2. "I wouldn't, there are multiple stories in the bible where god commands people to kill, but I don't think I'd do go through with it."
3. "I wouldn't, I don't believe that part of the bible. I don't believe god would ask someone to kill another person, the omnipotent being is perfectly capable on his own, why would he force someone to do his dirty work?" ..OR, better yet..
4. "Why believe in a book claimed to be the word of god, that contains obvious fairy tales, and many atrocities, many of which are commanded by that alleged god himself? Why would anyone believe that, when this alleged god, obviously doesn't want people to know the truth, when many ask him sincerely everyday? Why allow people to worship incorrectly (when many 'know' they are worshipping correctly) and not guide all of them simultaneously, to the correct one, with irrefutable evidence? Maybe he doesn't care, or maybe, JUST MAYBE, HE DOESN'T EXIST.

But, what can you expect from a christian, they have to dodge all of the logical questions..

First off your the "dodge boy," no answers to my last post to you and no facts here. Since you and others here like to assume in the what ifs, then who's the ones that live in a childish fairy tale world, your the ones claiming the stories of the Bible are fairy tales, care to explain what facts you have to back up your claims. Where's that logic you like to crow about, hidden behind one of those if's I believe.

GC

Yeah, you answer questions with, “I don’t care about that” or “I have no use for that” or “I know because god speaks to me.” No one can have a conversation with you, which is why I ignored you. I can’t respond too much to those, because those responses are dodges to questions, just like this one below. Not quite a dodge, but just another claim, a claim that practically every religious person makes..”Just have faith.” No thanks, there is nothing convincing in what you guys say.

Quote:Why not everyone, this is easy. Faith, it starts with faith and if you knew what was within the pages of the Bible you would have known this, truths come through our faith we have in Christ, without faith God's not going to reveal His wonder to you.

I know the pages of the bible, and yes, you’re right you need faith to believe them. Faith means believing in something with no good reason to do so. If I had good reason to do so, there wouldn’t be a need for faith. If there was good reason to believe, you wouldn’t truly need to believe in it either.. We’d be able to prove it true, if it was the word of god, in my opinion (which makes sense). Telling someone to “Just have faith.”, doesn’t make sense, because why not have faith in Hinduism? Why not have faith in Buddhism? Faith is gullibility. Rational thinking is the best way to figure out if something is true or not. I could say, “I believe that there are invisible zombies flying around me right now, trying to eat my etheric brain.” Do you have a good reason to believe me? I know you won’t answer, so I’ll do it for you..”NO.” Well, you claim to talk to god.. can you prove your claim? OF COURSE NOT. If no one can prove this claim, can you see why we rational people, don’t believe you?? If you don’t answer that question, I’m completely done with you on this thread. I’ve put up with your bullshit long enough on here. I’ve heard a lot of claims, I don’t pick one to believe, and ignore all the other ones, I look at them objectively, and try to see if they make sense. I don’t pick christianity, and say, “Yeah, the talking donkey, talking snake, talking burning bush, god needing to impregnate a virgin and to kill her son in order to forgive us makes sense, jonah, moses parting the red sea, jesus walking on water…Yeah, those all make sense to me, but the Hindu Trinity makes no sense. You like to ignore this logic, and say, “I’m not interested in hearing that.”, because you have no actual rebuttal. What a shocker..

Yeah, we call them fairy tales, I’m sure you’d call Thor a fairy tale, along with the other Norse mythology and Germanic pagan religions. I can’t say without absolute certainty that all the religions are wrong, and there is one right one out there. Again, here’s what reasoning looks like: All these religious claims contain outlandish stories that no one can relate to in this world. Why? because these stories of god constantly appearing in a book, don’t seem to be happening on this planet very much. Many mythical figures claim to have done miracles throughout history, can anyone prove these type of abilities now? NO. I can give you many examples of why people don’t believe things that never seem to occur in the real world, but that should be easily figured out with common sense. You probably don’t believe in my invisible zombies, just like I don’t believe in your invisible, miraculous jesus along with all the other ridiculous stories contained in the bible and other holy books.

They are all claims/stories, and I don’t have any reason to pick any of these made up stories, called religion, and just believe in it without a good reason. If I did just pick one, I’d probably pick the wrong one, if a true one even actually existed. If you can’t see how that makes sense, you’re a lost cause.
