I'm not even trying to be mean to anyone or to poke fun. It's my brain screaming for rationality, and railing against what has become commonly accepted as reasonable.

Watching people ignore every logical question and watching them ignore the lack of evidence at all costs to defend some dumb fucking book that contradicts itself constantly, that is filled with the most immoral filth you can imagine, and filled with stories.. that if they were found on the fictional shelf of a bookstore, no one would even question it. I can’t imagine if the bible was discovered for the first time tomorrow, seeing someone actually pick that book up, begin reading it, and actually think to themselves, “Wow, this must be a true story inspired by god.” That person would be considered a big dumbshit.
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.' -Isaac Asimov-
