Held by a civilian too. That's the most mind boggling thing. Like, I've only once or twice seen cops in the UK carrying guns, to see a civ with an assault rifle is truly bizarre.
Yeah, the only people I know who own guns are usually hunters or have a special permit for some specific activity that requires guns - Additionally some guns like ones with rubber bullets used for specific purposes do not require license. But "true" firearms? Hell no, I don't know anybody b sides cops, soldiers and intelligence services that owns a gun. It confuses the hell out of me as well, but whatever floats people's boats.
