Superman was real and he was who he said he was. Just consider Lois Lane, the witness to these amazing events. She was willing to jump off a building in his arms and fly with him. Now Lois was a smart reporter. She would have known better than to think a normal man could fly. She would not have allowed herself to be carried off the top of a skyscraper unless she knew he was who he said he was.
See, if you let people use the storybook to prove the story, you can prove any story.
