Honest Question to Atheists - Best Argument?

Not since adulthood. That applies to all the world's religions.

I respect many generic god arguments - arguments for a god nobody knows anything about. Arguments for specific gods like Yahweh/Jesus look no different to me than arguments for the Great Pumpkin. Every religion I've ever heard of is so full of holes it is impossible to take seriously.

For me it's since I began connecting the dots and seeing that what I already knew about the world didn't add up with the tales.

So, any geocentric or humanocentric (is that even a word?) god, was quickly out of the picture. The only thing I could reasonably not rule out entirely, was a totally neutral higher force, not having any interest in the proceedings of these little ant colonies.
