Joepa has done a world of good for the young men that came through the Penn State program, he turned down pro contracts that would have made his at Penn State look pitiful. His reason for doing so, he felt he could help those kids become successful young men who could contribute to their own communities. I believe the decision of whether or not to put up a statue should be left up to a community that knew him best. I'm not a Penn State fan (my blood runs orange), whoever I have a great deal of respect for a man who cared for those under his charge, than he did for his own personal gain, Joepa saw gain as boys becoming men not wins and losses.
Blood runs orange? Does the name Bernie Fine ring a bell?
