If the bait shown was meant to be a average sized great white (5 meters long), the mosasaur that can swallow it in one bite would have to have a jaw in excess of 5 meters long, meaning the whole animal, if normally proportioned, would be over 50 meters long, or about twice the length of a blue whale.
As a very rough approximation, cube law means the mesosaurs as shown would weigh about 1000 tons. Since apex predators are seldom if ever even close in size to the largest animal in an ecosystem, I wonder what other battleship sized swimming reptiles Steven Spilberg has in mind.
