The story shows that Peter was the biggest dummy of all time. He had been paling around fulltime with Jesus for two or three years. He had listened to all of his words and seen all of his deeds. The dummy even "Knew that Jesus WAS the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, he was all of it." But when it was time for the dummy to put up he wimped out like an earthworm. If Jesus was real he should have thrown his butt into the lake of fire as he said in John 15:6.
