I could say the same thing about astrophysics, much in this field is guess work, much that is claimed has never been seen, they make this stuff up to explain things they have no idea about, such as comets.

No and don't be ridiculous. There are comets that are said to orbit the sun only once every million years yet they can't be tracked nor have they been observed, got it.

He did not say that gays or others were punished because of another's sin, he said those who participated in sexual acts outside of marriage who become HIV positive have reaped what they have sown. You sure are not very understanding of what others say.
 

I know you are referring to Adam and Eve, well you are not being punished for what they did, the cause of the punishment was made possible because of what they did. They disobeyed God, God cursed the creation and allowed Satan to work in the lives of man, thus disease and other nasty things were allowed to exist and we sometimes run head on into them, meaning thing happen and other times God uses them in the lives of people for a purpose.

Really? What is a purpose of a child dying of leukemia? Or one thousand children under the age of 5 that die every hour every day in excruciating pain?

Since you do not believe in God this want make sense to you but I doubt much makes sense to you,judging by your posts. Did I not say that people run head on into diseases and that I meant this was something that just happens. God will be in those situations to give help to those who suffer through these things and God could be using unfortunate situations such as these to show people He is real and there to help in His omniscient and caring way.
For you evolution is the culprit for these sicknesses, what you going to do about the evil of a thing like evolution, you can't kill it or talk it away, if you did then God is all that is left and i'm betting you're not willing to go that route.

eliminating the Bible as good historical record is just a silly thing to do, especially in the light that many things were discovered because the Bible said they existed and then were found by archaeologist.
