The thing is, there used to be message boards dedicated to those subjects. You need not have have joined this monolithic group which exists for no other reason than to mine your data and sell it to third parties.
You are not a costumer on Facebook. You are a commodity.
Not only that; you are stifling creativity by patronizing Facebook.
Why are you here on AF rather than a stupid Facebook group? It's better, right? So is everything else. A dedicated message forum has higher standards. Facebook lowers the bar.
Plus, I don't want to put all my information out for the world to see. I feel comfortable enough putting it out here because it's a limited arena. Why would I want to open myself up to an enormous forum - with very few individuals of which I have any affinity for at all?
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
