I remember my mother loving that show when I was a kid.
Don't remember much about it other than be continuously shushed while it was on, and that I didn't like it.
I hated M*A*SH as a kid too, but I've come to appreciate it as an adult. It's a good show.
In general daytime soap operas were seen as mostly aimed at females. But I can tell you my adoptive dad, X- Marine and HS biology teacher HATED when I interrupted his daytime soaps during the summer.
It really lends truth to the line in the Styx song, "Too Much Time On My Hands" in one line says, "I've given up hope for the afternoon soaps, and a bottle of cold brew."
