I am quite sure Hunter was developed by Hollywood to compete with the big screen as a TV version of the Dirty Harry movie series. ANYWHO, I was watching a rerun on Youtube just now and had "What the fuck" who wrote this script?
In many a movie or TV show there are memes in history, where seedy business establishments do not trust law enforcement. Ok, so Rick Hunter, that's the main cop in this show, is looking for escaped killers at a hotel. He pushes the clerk for info, and finally the clerk gives him the room number 411. But of course the clerk calls the real room and killer as Rick leaves the lobby up the stairs. 412, as written in the script, and the bad guy is onto them just as the reach the floor.
I love the action of the show, I was a huge fan but still, why not have the clerk tell them the wrong floor? I know it is just a show, but WTF?
