If you like mushrooms, certainly you've had food with mushrooms on it that you thought sucked, and other foods with mushrooms you thought was great. I hate mushrooms, so it doesn't matter what the dish is.
Just now I was watching a food travel show on cable TV, and it was the second episode where a hot dog establishment claimed to refuse to put ketchup on hot dogs. I love ketchup on hotdogs.
I could care less. I also hate morons who claim a steak should be medium rare at best. I have always liked my steaks well done. I've even dipped my steaks in ranch dressing.
Food isn't a fucking class or tax bracket. It is something everyone needs to survive. Food to me, is simply what you like. Now if one wants to argue, "I like the way this person, joint, does what I like", that is one thing. But for any asshole to claim someone else has to like what they do are fucking assholes.
Food is a lot like religion. Just because one likes it one way, does not mean everyone has to eat it or like it.
You realize that in this post, you are behaving like a food critic, right?
